Echographia is a writing disturbance in which the person cannot write whenever he/she wants to, but can only write when somebody else says what needs to be written or when there is the opportunity to copy what needs to be written. Echographia comes from the Greek word "echo" meaning "sound," and the Greek word "grapho" meaning "to write." Put the words together and you get "to write sound."
