Galactopoietic means pertaining to galactopoiesis, which is milk production. Galactopoietic comes from the Greek word "gala" meaning "milk," the Greek word "poiesis" meaning "forming," and the Greek work "ikos" meaning "pertaining to." Put the words together and you have "pertaining to forming milk."
