FEATURED BOOKS ON EYE CARE FROM BARNES & NOBLE.COM:
Keratoectasia is a bulging forward of the cornea. The cornea is the clear covering at the front of the eyeball. Keratoectasia is also known as corneal ectasia, keratectasia, and kerectasis. Keratoectasia comes from the Greek word “keras” meaning “horn,” and the Greek word “ektasis” meaning “a stretching.” Put the words together and you get “a stretching horn.”
