FEATURED BOOKS ON BODY LANGUAGE FROM BARNES & NOBLE.COM:
Kinesics
The study of nonverbal body movements, the position of the body, and facial expression in communication. Studying, observing, and measuring nonverbal communication when people interact is a very important part of health assessment. It is used very often by professionals doing mental health assessments, such as psychologists and psychiatrists. For example, nonverbal behavior, such as fidgeting, is used to help diagnose behavioral and communication disorders. Kinesics comes from the Greek word "kinesis" meaning "motion."
