Labrum has the following meaning in the field of medicine:

1. A lip or lip shaped structure.

2. A lip made of fibrocartilage (a type of flexible tissue) that is located around the edge of the indented part of some joints. A joint is a place where two bones contact each other.

Labrum is Latin for "lip." The plural form of labrum is labra. Labrum is also known as articular labrum, articular lip, and labrum articulare.
