Macrocephalic means relating to or characterized by macrocephaly, which is a rare condition in which the head is abnormally large. Macrocephalic is also known as megacephalic, macrocephalous, and megecephalous. Macrocephalic comes from the Greek word "makros" meaning "large," the Greek word "kephale" meaning "head," and the Greek word "ikos" meaning "pertaining to." Put the words together and you have "pertaining to (a) large head."
