Macrodontia is the state of having abnormally large teeth. Macrodontia is also known as macrodontism, megadontism, and megalodontia. Macrodontia comes from the Greek word "makros" meaning "large," and the Latin word "odous" meaning "tooth." Put the words together and you have "large tooth."
