FEATURED BOOKS ON NECROPHILIACS FROM BARNES & NOBLE.COM:
Necrophilia
2. In psychiatry, necrophilia is a rare condition in which one has an abnormal desire to have sexual contact with a dead body. Someone who practices necrophilia is known as a necrophiliac or a necrophile. Necrophiliacs are usually men who perform sexual acts on dead women. However, they have been known to practice sexual acts on dead men as well.
Necrophilia is also known as necrophilism. Necrophilia comes from the Greek word "nekros" meaning "dead," and the Greek word "philos" meaning "fond." Put the two words together and you have "fond (of the) dead."
1. An abnormal enjoyment of being with dead bodies.
