Platyhieric means to have a broad sacrum. The sacrum (pronounced say-crum) is a large triangle shaped bone in the lower part of the spine. Platyhieric comes from the Greek word "platys" meaning "flatness" and the Greek word "heiron" meaning "sacrum." Put the two words together and you get "sacrum flatness."
