Quadriplegic
Pertaining to or having quadriplegia. Quadriplegia is a loss of the ability to move and/or feel both arms, both legs, and the parts of the body below the area of injury to the spinal cord, which is what causes the condition to occur. A quadriplegic is also known as a tetraplegic. Quadriplegic comes from the Latin word "quattuor" meaning "four," the word "plege" meaning "stroke," and the Greek word "ikos" meaning "pertaining to." Put the words together and you get "pertaining to four stroke(s)."
