Uniglandular
Involving, relating to, or containing only one gland. A gland is an organ in the body made of special cells that form and release materials such as fluid. Uniglandular comes from the Latin word “unis” meaning “one” and the Latin word “glans” meaning “acorn.” Put the words together and you have “one acorn.”
