FEATURED BOOKS ON THE URINARY BLADDER FROM BARNES & NOBLE.COM?
Ureteroenterostomy
A formation of an opening between the ureter and intestine (the tube shaped structure that is part of the digestive tract). The ureters are two tube-shaped structures that bring urine to the urinary bladder from the kidneys. The kidneys are two organs located on each side of the spine, behind the stomach. The kidneys filter (remove) wastes from the blood. The urinary bladder is a hollow, muscular organ in the body that collects and temporarily holds urine until it is ready to leave the body. Ureteroenterostomy comes from the Greek word “oureter” meaning “urinary canal,” and the Greek word "entera" meaning "bowels," and the Greek word “stoma” meaning “mouth.” Put the words together and you have “urinary canal (and) bowels mouth.”
