Vesica
2. The urinary bladder, which is a hollow, muscular organ in the body that collects and temporarily holds urine (pee) until it is ready to leave the body. See the entry for urinary bladder for an extensive description of this organ. Vesica is Latin for "bladder."
1. Any hollow sac or structure, normal or abnormal, that contains a serous fluid. Serous means relating to, containing, producing, or resembling serum, a clear, watery fluid that has been separated from its more solid parts.
