Zoanthropy
A delusion that one has developed the form and characteristics of an animal, such as a cat or a dog. A delusion is a persistent false belief that is strongly held despite clear evidence that the belief is actually false. Zoanthropy comes from the Greek word "zoon" meaning "animal," and the Greek word "anthropos" meaning "man." Put the two words together and you have "animal man."
